The Velvet Easel is a contemporary art gallery in Portobello, Edinburgh, which exhibits a wide range of modern art predominantly by Scottish artists.
Established in November 2013, The Velvet Easel Gallery presents a programme of group exhibitions throughout the year, including work by emerging as well as established artists from all artistic backgrounds. A broad range of mediums are represented including painting, sculpture, pottery, ceramics, glass and jewellery. We also stock a wide range of high quality limited edition prints, greetings cards and gifts.
The gallery is a member of the Own Art scheme, which enables customers to purchase artwork in 10 instalments at 0% interest through the Own Art scheme finance arrangement.
